Our Founder, Sibyl Brooks has 15+ years of working in the industry from Group Homes, to Private Duty to Foster Care. These early years of providing support to physically and intellectually impaired adults was the catalyst for where she is now. In 2015, Sibyl was thrusted into a caretaker of her 93 year old mother. It was not easy nor was it planned but it is through this eye-opening experience that catapulted Sibyl back into the home healthcare industry. Sibyl is determined to educate, enlighten and empower the community on aging at home while simultaneously preserving their assets.
Sibyl enthusiastically brings the same unequivocal passion and dedication to the healthcare industry with her tenacious spirit. She is a strong advocate and proponent of giving our youth as well as our elderly the opportunity to reach their fullest potential, goals and dreams. Sibyl is a caregiver and educator with a calling to speak truth to power for those who have been disenfranchised and marginalized by society.
In total, Sibyl has 18+ years of providing services to individuals with autism, intellectually impairment , and disabilities. Sibyl knew that everything she learned while dealing with the declining health of her mother, that there are other folks who need support in getting the right care for their loved ones while protecting their assets in the meanwhile. Destiny Life Partners is here to educate, empower and enlighten our community with superior in-home care whether that is for a couple of hours a day or Live-In care.
